This week summer has arrived along with September; the best few days sunshine for weeks.Along the Dalcataig Road outside Lann Dearg there is a good crop of Himalayan Balsam with its pink flowers shining in the late afternoon sun. This plant is described by many as invasive and to be treated as a weed but we think it looks really attractive along the road.
The Rose Bay Willow Herb has also been quite a source of colour.
