Nearly summer but here near Loch Ness the seasons are a little later than in the south of England.The spring "heatwave" has come and gone and very nice it was too, with temperatures well over 20ºC for several days. Then the low pressure won and it's been much cooler this week.
Just outside the Studios here at Lann Dearg there is a Rhododendron bush growing on the bank that we thought was a bit sickly. But this year for the first time it has flowered. Maybe the cold winter shocked it into action. It's quite pretty anyway.
